Booster Meeting (10/7) - Our next booster/parent meeting of the year is on October 7th at 7:00pm. Booster/parent meetings last about an hour. Meetings are held in the band room and all parents who have students in the Marching Band and Colorguard are invited to attend. Booster meetings are generally held on the first Wednesday of the month. See the schedule below at the bottom of the page. Agenda - (English - Spanish)
Restaurant Night (10/8) - Join us on Thursday, October 8th, from 11:00 AM–8:00 PM at Peter’s Gourmade in Tustin and support the Tustin High School Instrumental Music Program. Enjoy lunch or bring the family back for dinner. Peter’s Gourmade will donate a portion of your purchase to our music program. Be sure to have the fundraiser flyer with you when you order. Dine-in or take-out! Flyer Away Football Game (10/15) - The Tustin High School Marching Band has been invited to perform at an upcoming away football game on Thursday, October 15th at SoFi Stadium. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:00pm. This is an incredible opportunity for our students to perform at one of the most iconic stadiums in the country and represent Tustin High School on a big stage. More information regarding schedules and student details will be shared soon. Marching Band Competition (10/17) - Our next field competition is at Ramona High School on October 17th. The Band will perform at 4:15pm. Student call time is 11:00am and we should return to Tustin High School at 11:00pm. Schedule Band and Orchestra Picture Day (10/20) - We will have our annual picture day on Tuesday, October 20th during class. Orchestra will take their picture during 3rd period and band and guard will take their picture during 4th period (Colorguard will be excused from class). Orchestra needs to wear their concert black. Band will be wearing their uniforms without their shakos and guard will be in their parade uniforms. All students need to be in the picture, but purchasing pictures is optional. Flyer Marching Band Competition (10/24) - Our next field competition is at Ramona High School on October 24th. The Band will perform at 1:15pm. Student call time is 8:00am and we should return to Tustin High School at 6:15pm. Schedule Home Football Game (10/29) - Our next home football game is October 29th, and it will be a very special evening for the Tustin High School Instrumental Music Program. Student Call Time will be 6:00pm in the Band Room. The game will start at 7:00pm and will end around 9:30pm. That evening, we are excited to welcome students from Sycamore Magnet Academy and Utt Middle School. The junior high students will join us in the stands, giving them the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be part of the high school music program. We will also be celebrating Senior Night and honoring our incredible Marching Band seniors. This will be a wonderful opportunity to recognize their hard work, dedication, leadership, and contributions to our program. We look forward to celebrating with our students, families, and visiting junior high musicians on October 29th. Flyer District Marching Band Showcase (11/3) - This is an event for all the high school Marching Band programs in Tustin Unified School district to perform their shows. Support our talented Marching Band members on November 3rd at 7:00pm in the Stadium at Tustin High School. More information will follow. There is 1 football game a week until we lose. After each game it will then be determined the date and location of the next game. Below are the possible dates: Week 1 - November 5, 6, or 7 Week 2 - November 12, 13, or 14 Week 3 - November 19, 20, or 21 Week 4 - November 27 or 28 Week 5 - December 5 Week 6 - December 12 Marching Band Competition (11/7) - Our next field competition is at Irvine High School on November 7th. The schedule should be out about 3 weeks before the competition. Stay Tuned. Marching Band Championships (11/21) - Marching Band Championships will be held on November 21st at Riverside King High School. We will know if we have made it on November 15th. Making championships will be based off of our 3 highest scores. More information to come. Drumline 2026 - The Drumline consists of only percussion instruments performing a show inside a gym. The Drumline Season begins on November 30th. There are two to three practices a week. Practice takes place after school. Workshops will take place on November 30th and December 2nd and auditions will be on December 7th. In order to participate in Drumline you will need to be able to make all practices and competitions. The schedule is attached below in the calendar section and will be updated as we get more dates. Winterguard 2026 - Winterguard consists of dancing and tossing equipment, such as flags and rifles, inside a gym. The Winterguard season begins on November 30th. There are two practices a week. Practice takes place after school. Workshops will take place on November 30th and December 2nd and auditions will be on December 7th. In order to participate in Winterguard you will need to be able to make all practices and competitions. You will also have to enroll in 5th period Dance Exploration.
